Meeru Island Resort & Spa, Maldives


Another amazing experience for me in paradise (Maldives). Its been 2 months and I can't be more thankful to God that He allows me to live and work in this beautiful place. It was just a wild dream before. I don't even have any idea of living here but there's really a miracle when we receive God's grace. In this place, I find peace, clarity, wisdom and happiness. :)

Twin lakes

Have you ever been to Twin Lakes? Well, its my new favorite place because of the romantic ambiance! Last Holiday (August 31) my college friends and I decided to have a road trip in Tagaytay. First, we met at Tiendesitas and decided to take the short cut road from Nuvali to Tagaytay. No regrets in taking that road since there's no traffic plus it has a very scenic view. The weather is not so cold so as you can see I wear shorts. :p We also had the chance to take a picture at the old (haunted) Marcos' House and Memory Lane Restaurant. Twin lakes is one of the newest project of Megaworld Corporation. It is located in Tagaytay Road, Nasugbu Batangas.

Horseback riding at Tagaytay Highlands

I never thought that horseback riding was so fun! It was my new found love. At first, I was a bit scared to try it while we we're in Tagaytay Highlands but syempre na-peer pressure na naman ako. I can say this experience is one of those moments that I feel so alive. Grabe, I feel like I'll have an asthma attack but thank God it never happened. I just need to catch my breath after. Lol.

It was my second time in Tagaytay Highlands, but I'm still amazed to see this beautiful place. It feels like I'm in another country because of the fresh air. According to their website, Highlands is a world-class recreational & residential complex nestled amid the natural splendor & cool, unpolluted atmosphere of Tagaytay Ridge. With tons of exciting activities, plush activities, fine dining and Asia's most exciting golf course, Tagaytay Highlands is truly the ideal getaway haven from the hustle and bustle of urban life.

Staycation at Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria

I'm always at Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria for work so when my friends and I go there for an overnight staycation, I admit I wasn't that excited. To my surprise, it became one of my most unforgettable moments with my college barkada. We rarely see each other and our busy schedules won't permit us to have an out of town trip, so we think staycation is a better idea. Staying in a hotel within the metro is a great alternative for pricey, stressful travel. Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria offers an overnight stay with free breakfast buffet for two, free use of swimming pool and gym facilities, plus they have very friendly and accommodating staffs. Now that's a deal!

Tips for a great Staycation:
1. Book your stay in advance. (Who knows they might give you discount/vouchers for this.)
2. Plan the things that you'll do during your stay like swimming, spa massage, gym workout etc.
3. Take advantage of the free foods specially breakfast buffet, lunch buffet or dinner buffet. It will not only save you money, It will also makes your tummy happy.
4. Bring your family and friends with you.
5. Just relax and forget about your work.

Casual Chic

I know some of you guys are wondering what kind of bra I'm wearing with this outfit or if I'm really wearing one lol. I'm usually wearing a seamless free bra for clothes like this. Gone are the days when girls wear tank tops and you can still see the strap of her bra (eww!). Free bra are very popular right now because you can use it to different kind of clothing styles (halter, racer back, spaghetti strap, sweetheart dresses, tube, etc.)

Style Tips:
Look effortlessly chic by wearing halter jumpsuit paired with sandals (or flat shoes) for a casual look. You may also add minimal jewelry that gives a maximum effect like this LOVE necklace. :)

Foodie Art by Samantha Lee

I'm not a fan of food photography because I only want to EAT foods not CAPTURE them (haha LOL!) but after seeing this beyond beautiful foodie artwork of Samantha Lee I was really amazed! Samantha is a Malaysian-based mom who makes whimsical, colorful and imaginative meals to encourage her daughters to eat foods. She started making food art in December 2008 (without having a culinary background). But with her creativity and passion she is now an "online food star" with more than 500,000 followers on Instagram.
