Sunset at Deo's Hideaway Bar

This will always be my favorite view in the Philippines. I am a proud Rizaleno. :) I live in Cainta but most of my friends are from Antipolo that's why this place is like my second home. Just 30 minutes drive from Manila, Antipolo City has lots of beautiful overlooking view.  It is my favorite because of the breath taking sunset. I also go here whenever I want to chill and unwind. Deo's Hideaway bar offers a variety of foods and drink plus they also have live bands performing on weekends. It is also very near Pinto Art Museum so might as well visit this bar if you're planning to go there.

Horseback riding at Tagaytay Highlands

I never thought that horseback riding was so fun! It was my new found love. At first, I was a bit scared to try it while we we're in Tagaytay Highlands but syempre na-peer pressure na naman ako. I can say this experience is one of those moments that I feel so alive. Grabe, I feel like I'll have an asthma attack but thank God it never happened. I just need to catch my breath after. Lol.

It was my second time in Tagaytay Highlands, but I'm still amazed to see this beautiful place. It feels like I'm in another country because of the fresh air. I'm always at Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria for work so when my friends and I go there for an overnight staycation, I admit I wasn't that excited. To my surprise, it became one of my most unforgettable moments with my college barkada. We rarely see each other and our busy schedules won't permit us to have an out of town trip, so we think staycation is a better idea. Staying in a hotel within the metro is a great alternative for pricey, stressful travel. Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria offers an overnight stay with free breakfast buffet for two, free use of swimming pool and gym facilities, plus they have very friendly and accommodating staffs. Now that's a deal!

Tips for a great Staycation:

1. Book your stay in advance. (Who knows they might give you discount/vouchers for this.)

2. Plan the things that you'll do during your stay like swimming, spa massage, gym workout etc.

Surfing 101 in Pagudpud

Pagudpud's Blue Lagoon is now a surfers haven in the north. It is one least crowded surf beaches in the Philippines, making it a surf lover's dream getaway spot. The waves are also ideal for beginners (like me) who wants to learn the sport. Kapuluwan Vista Resort in Pagudpud offers surf board rentals for 200php per hour. You may also hire an instructor for additional 200php. So what are you waiting for? Go surfing in one of the best surf spot in the country! :)
