Definitely a world of golden sunshine and turquoise waters at this luxury Maldives resort. A 5-star beach resort that is conveniently located in a private island just 20 minutes away from Male Airport. They have over 176 guest rooms ranging from island cottages to ocean pool villas to water villas, 7 restaurants and bars, a spa island, fresh water pool, fitness center, tennis court, sheraton club lounge, relax room, beach and offers a variety of water sports activities. It is very relaxing and they have good customer service. Food is quite pricey so it's better to book full board meal plan package.

A Dream Come True

I want to keep this post as personal as possible because I think this is one of the reasons why I keep going in life. (wow deep! 😛) All of us have dreams. A goal that we want to achieve. As a kid, I remember how my teachers would ask me what I want to be when I grow up? And I vividly remember how my mom would laughed at me whenever I say I want to be a "Tindera" (seller/vendor) someday. Very different from the usual, I want to be teacher, doctor, nurse and policeman someday...

I don't know where did I get this strange idea that vendors/sellers has the most money. I always think back then that once the customer/buyer made a payment, all the money will go to the vendor. But it all made sense now as a Sales Professional for six years who have strong & solid background in selling property, insurance, corporate training & events, retail office supplies, food and clothing.

But it's not that easy. I did not wake up and decided I want to be a sales person. It's an everyday battle between my clients, suppliers and sometimes, a battle within myself (especially if I'm a bit lazy lol). Everyday, I choose to be in this industry cause deep inside me I know this is what I wanted to do and this is where I'm good at. I believe all of us have special gifts and talents that we can use in order to succeed in life. There is no easy profession. It's always something that we should work hard for.

Nowadays, it's easier to sell products or services online. With the help of technology, we can all easily set up a website or sell something in facebook, shopify, ebay, amazon or alibaba. Of course, I took advantage of that and created my own fashion retail store, SIRENFUSHI -  a fashion+lifestyle brand that will give you a chill, relax and carefree beach vibe. As a fashion enthusiast and beach lover, I personally choose products that my fellow island girl will love.

This is me reaching for my dreams that I know since I was a little girl. :) If you want to see my fashion retail store you can check sirenfushi collection here and choose from over 150+ beach wear products from hats, bikinis, shirts, dresses and sunnies.

Bikini Details

Another bikini post because its forever summer in the Maldives! Yey! :) I got this bikini in Thailand. Actually my friend bought this for me. It was a bit larger for my size (xs) but I really like the back  & front details of this one piece swimwear. It looks extra sexy but still classy! I also like the color since I now prefer more mature colors on my clothes (hello white, black, grey, navy blue & cream...bye pink! lol)

And I also do the #HairFlipChallenge Don't judge! It's my first time LOL! Hopefully next time it'll be better. What do you guys think of my new bikini? Yay or Nay?

Solo travel in Tanay, Rizal

My first solo travel from way baaack 2015. Its was just a random weekday and I have nothing to do so I decided to try something that's on my bucketlist for so looong. I know Tanay, Rizal is just a 2-hour drive from my hometown but I still consider this as a milestone in my travel/adventure life. It all starts with little things, right?

First stop, Daranak Falls and Batlag Falls which are very popular tourist attractions. Good thing I go on a weekday. The falls are not crowded that time. If I remember it right, there's an entrance fee of 50php per head for Daranak falls and a separate fee of 150php for Batlag Falls as it is a private falls. I really enjoyed swimming in the falls as it give a relaxing and fresh feeling.

Second stop, Our Lady of Rawan Grotto. I don't even know this place before but my tour guide suggest that I must see the overlooking view of this grotto which is so worth it! it's one of the beauty of solo travelling, you can try different things and be more adventurous.

Last is the Parola Light house where you can also see the Laguna de bay port. It is best to go here during sunset. I wasn't able to go up that time because it is closed already but I still enjoy the view. Some bangkeros (fisherman) also offers a bangka ride for 20php per head.

Locations: Daranak Falls | Batlag Falls | Our Lady of Rawan Grotto | Parola Lighthouse

I decided to try solo travelling because during that time, I was about to start working abroad. I think that if I will have to go (work) alone in another country, I must try it first in my own country, my own province which is Rizal (Rizal Mabuhay!). There's so many things that I like doing solo like going to mall, shopping (retail therapy!), going to salon or have a massage or facial. I don't know, some people find it weird but I love doing these things alone. I find fulfillment in accomplishing things on my own plus I considered it as a "Me time" where I can reflect or think things through. It's just the same feeling as solo travelling specially if you have a very beautiful overlooking view (maybe that's why they always associate mountains with all the hugot lines LOL).

Tanay, Rizal is very rich in natural resources. It has falls, mountains, caves, lots of overlooking view where you can even see Laguna de bay and Pililia wind farm. Okay, I'm being a biased Rizaleña here but I promise you guys, It is so worth it! You must try it at least once in your life. You can do a day visit like in my itinerary or you can even stay overnight as there are lots of resorts in Tanay. You can check nearest resort and hotels in Rizal here.
