Welcome 2017

 

Happy new year! I wish you all had a wonderful holiday with your love ones. :) I was not able to update my blog since I am very busy for the past two months. I've had short vacation (2 weeks) in the Philippines and also went to Singapore and Malaysia.  Now I'm back to work, Workation I must say because I'm working in Maldives. :P I got to celebrate Christmas and New year's eve on the beach. (yay!)

Sunrise in Vilingili


Finallyyyyy! After almost 7 months of living in Maldives,  We finally made it to Vilingili Beach for sunrise. Haha!
Waking up early is very difficult specially on our off days. Lol. But this view was so much worth it so I force myself to wake up at 5:30am even If I don't really want to go out of bed.

If you guys are wonderering why I'm always on the beach, It is because Maldives is made up of 99% water and 1% land. And Vilingili Beach is only 5minutes away (via dhoni) from our flat so I'm always here on my rest days. It is one of the most accessible public beach in Male. A good place to relax and swim all day. :)

Season Paradise


Last Eid holiday, we take a short but sweet vacation at Thulusdhoo Island because we wanted to surf. But guess what, we were not able to do it (huhu!). Yes there are waves but It's a reef break which is good for PRO surfers not for beginners like me lol. Anyhow, I still enjoy it because of the view. I mention on my previous post that I have a thing for "overlooking". I am happy that we stayed in Season Paradise Hotel which I think has the best view of Thulusdhoo Island. I go crazy over the blue and turquiose water. The overlooking view is just surreal from the top.! :)
