I want to keep this post as personal as possible because I think this is one of the reasons why I keep going in life. (wow deep! 😛) All of us have dreams. A goal that we want to achieve. As a kid, I remember how my teachers would ask me what I want to be when I grow up? And I vividly remember how my mom would laughed at me whenever I say I want to be a "Tindera" (seller/vendor) someday. Very different from the usual, I want to be teacher, doctor, nurse and policeman someday...
I don't know where did I get this strange idea that vendors/sellers has the most money. I always think back then that once the customer/buyer made a payment, all the money will go to the vendor. But it all made sense now as a Sales Professional for six years who have strong & solid background in selling property, insurance, corporate training & events, retail office supplies, food and clothing.
But it's not that easy. I did not wake up and decided I want to be a sales person. It's an everyday battle between my clients, suppliers and sometimes, a battle within myself (especially if I'm a bit lazy lol). Everyday, I choose to be in this industry cause deep inside me I know this is what I wanted to do and this is where I'm good at. I believe all of us have special gifts and talents that we can use in order to succeed in life.There is no easy profession. It's always something that we should work hard for.
Nowadays, it's easier to sell products or services online. With the help of technology, we can all easily set up a website or sell something in facebook, shopify, ebay, amazon or alibaba. Of course, I took advantage of that and created my own fashion retail store, SIRENFUSHI - a fashion+lifestyle brand that will give you a chill, relax and carefree beach vibe.
